Description

SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT REFERENCE N61331-13-R-0006 The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) has a requirement for the fabrication and delivery of Mine Countermeasure Targets. The contractor shall fabricate, assemble, and deliver production targets in shipping containers as specified in the applicable drawings in quantities requested by the Navy to the delivery destination as called out in each delivery order. All targets shall be packaged in accordance with their respective drawings. Unit Loads (Targets) shall be shipped in accordance with MIL-STD-1320, configurations 7516501, 7516502, or 7516503 as required. A first-article of each target will be required. Production targets shall be fabricated and assembled with the same materials and the same processes that were used to manufacture the First Article units. A five year Firm Fixed Price Requirements Indefinite Delivery “ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. The resultant contract shall be for one (1) 12 month base period with four (4) twelve month options. The NAICS code is 332710, Machine Shops. Interested offerors are requested to submit a capability statement IAW the attached Statement of Work (SOW). (1) Describe how the SOW will be supported; (2) Provide name and address of firm; (3) Indicate size of business including average annual revenue for past three years, number of employees, and status: Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8 (a), Women-Owned, HUB-Zone, Veteran-Owned and/or Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Business; (4) Represent ownership including Country of Ownership, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) information, and DUNS Number if available; (5) Include number of years in business; and (6) Provide two points of contact including: name, title, phone, fax, and e-mail address. There is no specific format or outline the submittals must follow. The capability statements should be no longer than 10 pages in length and shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Vincent Tomasi, via e-mail to vincent.tomasi@navy.mil by 12:00 PM CST 11 February 2013. Requests for applicable drawings shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Vincent Tomasi, via e-mail to vincent.tomasi@navy.mil. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. RESPONDENTS WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE OR 8(A) SET-ASIDE BASED ON RESPONSES HERETO.
