- Synopsis Solicitation #HRS104645 THIS IS A PRESOLICATION NOTICE ONLY - The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Health Systems Bureau (HSB) is planning to issue a solicitation to ensure call routing and service support for the national poison toll-free line. This phone line include emergency and non-emergency routing of calls, and the creation and delivery of reports on hotline usage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. The national poison toll-free number, 1-800-222-1222, was launched in January 2002. The number is designed to provide universal access to the 57 poison centers across the Unites States. When using the toll-free number, callers are directed to the Poison Control Center that serves their region. A contract resulting from this solicitation will ensure call routing and service support for the national poison toll-free number including emergency and non-emergency routing changes, and the creation and delivery of reports on hotline usage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside with a period of performance of twelve (12) months, with four (4) twelve month option periods. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about February 2013. The required services will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and may be subject to FAR 52.207-3. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541611, and the size standard is $14.0M. All future information regarding this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website (www.fbo.gov). Hard copies of the solicitation document and its related documents, as appropriate, will be posted at this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The Government will not reimburse interested parties for any costs associated with responding to this notice.
