- Description
- The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract modification for the Refurbishment of D-30 Howitzers. This requirement is for a quantity of 24 in support of the Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan (CSTC-A) to the UNIS Group, 71210 Ilid a - Sarajevo, Ustanicka 11 - Bosnia and Herzegovina on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), currently being staffed, addresses unacceptable delays and duplication costs to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A)&(B), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
