- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division intends to award a firm-fixed price Phase III SBIR contract to Design, Qualify,Install,and Transition a stern tube seal onto the LCS-1 Class with Mide Technology Corporatipon. The purpose of this modification is to reflect the updated quantities if the prototype is proved to be successful. If the two units are proved successful during shipboard operation, the government anticipates an ongoing need for services past the base period of performance, and an option period will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and made part of the award evaluation.
