- PROJECT LOCATION: Sullivan Creek National Fish Hatchery (Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery) 21990 West Trout Lane, Brimley, MI 49715-9007 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of providing superintendence, labor, materials, equipment and installation for the following items of work: This project will replace an existing Fish Hatchery Building (Egg Incubation) and improve the related Hatchery infrastructure. The work includes: demolition of an existing building and selective demolition of existing facilities; earthwork and exterior improvements; concrete foundations and floors; pre-cast structural concrete building; thermal and moisture protection; doors and windows; aquaculture equipment (egg incubation and early rearing apparatus); plumbing systems; mechanical systems; electrical systems; exterior pavements; and utility work (pumps, lift stations, wells). Furthermore, the work also includes related safety systems, alarms, controls, and all appurtenant work to provide turn-key systems complete with custom installations, conformity to or modification of existing substrates and services, testing, de-bugging, documentation of performance, and owner training. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is a set-aside for small business. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at https://www.fedconnect.net and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about Feb 15, 2013 with a Bid opening occurring on or about March 18, 2013. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form.
