- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with Philips Medical Systems, 3000 Minuteman Rd, Andover MA 01810, for the maintenance of hardware and software for Philips Excelera equipment located at the VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way, Augusta GA. The period of performance for this procurement will be January 2013 through September 30, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811219 with a size standard of $19.0 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer by e-mail to: Shirley.Adams@va.gov Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
