Description

The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNNMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda MD, on Behalf of the MAIN OPERATING ROOM will award a sole source procurement to MEDTRONIC, INC. for medical supplies: 5x14x11mm Cornerstone, 6x14x11mm Cornerstone, 90mm Plate, 14mm Fixed Screw, 14mm Variable Screw, 15mm Variable Screw, 16mm Variable Screw, Drill Bit, Plate Holding Pin, 3.5 x 10mm Screw, 3.5 x 12mm Screw, 3.5 x 14mm Screw, 3.5 x 24mm Screw, 3.5 x 28mm Screw, 5.5mm Threaded Rod, 3.5mm Threaded Rod, Setr Screw, Crosslink, Crosslink Set Screw, Crosslink Lock Nut, 13mm Offset, 5.5 x 20mm Screw. URGENT REQUIREMENT: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS. Consolidated Appropriations prohibited from contracting with a corporation that has been convicted of a felony in the last 24 months 252.209-7998. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/notice of award for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the notice of award and written notice of intent WILL NOT be issued.
