- AMENDMENT 0001 - SPECIFICATIONS / DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENT CLARIFICATIONS. ********************************************************* AMENDMENT 0001: SPECIFICATIONS / DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENT CLARIFICATIONS. SEE ATTACHMENT "AMENDMENT 0001" FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION. THE QUOTATION RESPONSE DATE IS HEREBY EXTENDED TO: 4 FEBRUARY 2013 3:00PM EASTERN TIME NO FURTHER CHANGES OCCUR AS A RESULT OF THIS AMENDMENT ******************************************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified procurement procedures will be used for this acquisition per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This requirement is also a 100% small business set-aside. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of any amendments or other pertinent information. The solicitation number is N00173-13-Q-0084, and it is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This requirement is being set-aside as a Total Small Business set aside under NAICS code 333415. Only qualified Offerors may submit responses. REQUIREMENT: The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the following: PRECISION COOLING UNIT FOR COMPUTER ROOM LABORATORY LIEBERT CORP (EMERSON NETWORK POWER) QUANTITY: 2 EACH TOTAL OF EIGHT (8) IT RACK SENSORS, UNITS CAPABLE OF ONE (1) EACH FOR FUTURE MODIFICATION OR RELOCATION VERTICAL MOUNT WITH SIDE-AIR FLOW BAFFLES (ADJUSTABLE) LARGE GRAPHIC DISPLAY (320 X 240 DOT MATRIX) FOR EACH UNIT PLUS (OPTIONAL) WALL MOUNTED LARGE GRAPHIC DISPLAY FOR REMOVE "SYSTEM VIEW". THIS IS TO BE MOUNTED IN ANOTHER LOCATION INTELLISLOT WEB CARD TO ALLOW COMMUNICATION BETWEEN UNITS: BRACKET CAPABILITY FOR INTERFACE WITH BMS SYSTM IN FUTURE VARIABLE SPEED SUPPLY FANS LOW SOUND PACKAGE DIGITAL SCROLL COMPRESSORS WITH REFG (R-410a) ELECTRIC REHEAT HUMIDIFIER DUAL-FLOAT CONDENSATE PUMP START UP AND BASIC OPERATOR TRAINING (NOTE: THE MANUFACTURER'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS TO PROVIDE NETWORK SWITCH, NETWORK WIRING AND PROGRAMMING TO OPERATE IN TEAM WORK MODE). Prior to submitting an offer, Offerors must be actively registered in System For Award Management (SAM) per FAR 52.204-99, System for Award Management. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. By submitting an offer, the Offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. To be eligible for award, prospective Offerors must be registered in SAM under the appropriate business category and NAICS code. In addition, unless available via SAM (i.e. www.sam.gov) Offerors are also to include a completed copy of their Representations and Certifications as per the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. DUE DATE: Quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time January 28, 2013 and will be accepted by e-mail. Quotes are to be submitted to Procurement Specialist. Offerors are responsible for confirming that their quote was received.
