- : ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Melissa Limbaugh, Contracts Specialist, email: melissa.d.limbaugh.civ@mail.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX3CF307AX, NOUN: Unit Assembly, Sccu, NSN: 6665-01-610-6475; P/N: 1048485; Flexible Engine Diagnostic System(FEDS), Quantity: 3 Min Qty/9 Max Qty on a 3 year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Basic + 2 Ops type contract applicable to FEDS with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 3 each 375 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 3 each year until contract completion. First Article Test Report is due 238 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test is 3 each 250 DACA and 3 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Howell Instruments, Inc.(CAGE: 98869) because these parts must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of the DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
