- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency, Aerospace Energy intends to procure on a Full and Open basis, Bulk Gaseous Helium, Type 1, Grade A, IAW MIL-PRF-27407C, dated 29 Nov 2006, Propellant Pressurizing Agent, Helium, NSN: 9135,-00-890-2011. A two-year fixed-priced with an Economic Price Adjustment contract is anticipated. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is for BLM and Non-BLM Helium. T he offeror shall provide all supplies, management, tools, equipment, labor and transportation necessary for the delivery of Gaseous Helium on an f.o.b. origin basis into Government-furnished and Customer-furnished High Pressure Cylinder Assemblies (HPCAs). The BLM requirement is for an estimated quantity of 300 MC's per year and the Non-BLM requirement is for an estimated quantity of 80 MC per year. The RFP will also contain line items for associated services such as Purging of HPCAs, Delivery Fee for Non-Routine Delivery, Maintenance/Repairs (NTE $500 per HPCA) and Maintenance/Repairs(Greater than $500 per HPCA). The period of performance is from 1 April 2013 through 31 March 2015. The RFP anticipated issue date is on or about 28 Jan 2013 and will be posted to FedBizOpps web page ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ). The anticipated award date is 1 March 2013. The applicable NAICS code is 325120. If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested.
