- This is a sources sought notice only. There is no solicitation at this time. This synopsis is being issued by Western Area Power Administration for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This sources sought shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. At this time there are no funds allocated or set aside for the future of this requirement. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the Government. This effort is to seek potential 8(a) business offerors capable of manufacturing and producing custom built 125kV substation control boards under NAICS 335313, PSC 6110 or 6150. Firms responding to this notice must identify their company's capabilities to perform the requirements described herein and provide verification of their status as an 8(a) business. Responses should be sent via email to Carol Hammans (hammans@wapa.gov) by 5:00 p.m. on 1/29/2013.
