- Statement of Qualifications THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY to seek qualified general contractors to design and construct a new 2-story (approx. 12,000 GSF) flexible and modular lab building based upon SLAC provided Design/Build bridging documents. The building includes 4-labs of approximately 1,300 GSF each that shall be fitted with fume hoods, sinks, emergency shower/eyewash stations, one row of lab casework, compressed air, process chilled water, HVAC, lab exhaust and drains. Lab utilities shall be provided so that future lab equipment can be added such as gas cabinets, snorkels, additional fume hoods, sinks, and additional lab casework. The building also includes support offices, conference room, break room and related modular furniture and ADA compliant restrooms & elevator. Project Site Work includes landscaping, parking, and connections to existing site utilities. Building will be designed & constructed via SLAC's Design-Build delivery method. 12-Month Construction Schedule: June 2013 to May 2014 SLAC is considering this procurement to be a Small Business Set-Aside. Interested parties should respond to the attached Statement of Qualifications to be considered for the forthcoming RFP. Please note that no additional documents will be provided at this time.
