- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services for male and female Federal offenders held under the authority of United States Statutes located within the boundaries of Kotenai County, Idaho (preferably within the city limits of Coeur d'Alene). Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Residential Reentry Center, August 2007; Revision 01, December 2007, CCB; Revision 02, December 2008, CCB; Revision 03, February 2010, CCB; Revision 04, May 2010, CCB; Revision 05, May 2011, CCB; Revision 06, January 2012, RRMB; Revision 07, February 2012, RRMB". This is a firm-fixed unit price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract and is anticipated to result in the award of one provider for one performance site which will satisfy total projected inmate requirements. The services are to be 80% male and 20% female for the one-year Base Period, and for each of the four (4) one-year Option Periods. The guaranteed minimum number of inmate days is 7,665, and the estimated maximum number of inmate days is 15,695 for the one-year base period; guaranteed minimum inmate days is 7,686, estimated maximum inmate days is 15,738 for option year one; guaranteed minimum inmate days is 7,665, estimated maximum inmate days is 15,695 for option year two; guaranteed minimum inmate days is 7,665, estimated maximum inmate days is 15,695 for option year three; and guaranteed minimum inmate days is 7,665, estimated maximum inmate days is 15,695 for option year four. Total inmate day projections are based upon past, present and best estimate of future use of RRC's within the District of Idaho. Total projected need would be 21 beds minimum, 43 beds maximum for the one-year base period and for each of the four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation will be available on or about January 18, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
