- This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes only. This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, nor does its issuance, in any way, restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, PZIA, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico is seeking potential sources to provide a set of All-Fiber Isolators of the following specifications: CLIN 1: All-Fiber Isolator (Part Number: AP-AFISO-1064PM-50) Wavelength: 1064nm Input/Output Fiber: PM 10/125; NA0.08 Panda Fiber Isolation: Greater Than 20dB Insertion Loss: Less Than 1.5dB Throughout Power: 50W Quantity: 3 Each CLIN 2: All-Fiber Isolator (Part Number: AP-AFISO-1035PM-50) Wavelength: 1035nm Input/Output Fiber: PM 10/125; NA0.08 Panda Fiber Isolation: Greater Than 20db Insertion Loss: Less Than 1.5dB Throughout Power: 50W Quantity: 2 Each ***Must be All-Fiber Isolators whereby Faraday rotation is achieved within fiber. Simple Fiber Coupled Isolators or Free Space Coupled isolators will not meet the needs of this requirement.
