- Description
- The United States Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for the following item to support the Marine Corps Transparent Armor Gun Shield (MCTAGS) equipped Cougar Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. Item: Turret Slew Assembly. Quantity: 1,000. This requirement will be solicited among the qualified vendors listed on Source Controlled Drawing 143003546 under Solicitation W56HZV-13-R-0140. A firm fixed price competitive procurement will be awarded to the offeror with the lowest evaluated price, meets all the material requirements of the solicitation and is found to be responsible in accordance with FAR 9.104. This solicitation will be issued on or about 22 January 2013 and responses will be due 30 calendar days thereafter. Please refer to the solicitation for all terms, conditions, specifications, requirements, etc. The following website for actual posting of the solicitation is https://contracting.tacom.army.mil/opportunity.htm. The subject solicitation is limited source action. The source controlled drawing will only be available to the limited source manufacturers. Any questions, please contact the Contract Specialist. The Government anticipates soliciting for an additional quantity of 4,000 units in the future. Responsible vendors not yet listed on Source Controlled Drawing 143003546 must be qualified by 01 April 2013 to compete for this additional quantity.
