- Request for Proposal Number DOLJ12SA00010 for continued operation of the San Diego Job Corps Center will be posted approximately January 8, 2013, at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This is a full and open competition. The Center is located at: 1325 Iris Avenue Imperial Beach, CA 91932 Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth between the ages of 16 and 24. The successful offeror will manage and operate a government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, outreach, career development, career transition services, and health care services according to the applicable U.S. Department of Labor/Job Corps regulations. This contract will not include any direct outreach/admissions services. The contract capacity is for 368 residential males, 252 residential females, 10 non-residential males, and 35 non-residential females for a total capacity of 665 trainee participants. The resultant contract will be a performance-based cost-plus-incentive fee contract for a two-year base period from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2015 plus three unilateral options of one year each.
