- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to award a contract on services to provide preventive maintenance and repair for the Bac-T-Alert System under Schedule of Equipment specified in solicitation document. Equipment is located at the Laboratory Service of above mentioned Facility. Contract will be awarded to the offeror submitting a proposal determined to be the most advantageous to the Government; after thorough evaluation of their technical capabilities, management capabilities, past performance, and price, but not limited to. Copy of the solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. The Solicitation document will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) http://www.fbo.gov website. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of proposals, offerors shall follow the instructions contained herein and address each of the factors and/or sub-factors accordingly. Offerors are required to meet ALL solicitation requirements, including terms and conditions, representations and certifications, technical requirements, but not limited to. Failure to meet a requirement may result in an offer being ineligible for award. The contracting officer will review the price proposals in accordance with FAR specifications for commercial items.
