- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line has a requirement for the inspection and repair of 9 each DSN 450 Doppler Speed Log Transducers, Syqwest, Inc. Part Number, G158929-2-18., NSN 5845-01-130-3490, for the 270' Medium Endurance Cutters (MEC's). The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 811219, and the Small Business Size Standard is $19.0 Million. It is the Government's belief that only the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Syqwest Inc., has unlimited access to the proprietary specifications, drawings, repair manuals, and other technical data required to successfully overhaul these transducers to "like new" condition, and that they are the only source capable of ensuring that each overhauled item conforms to the exact form, fit, and function requirements as the equipment currently installed on the MEC's. The proprietary technical data was not purchased by the Coast Guard and is not available from this agency. Any interested and capable sources should contact Ashley Fetherman, Ashley.A.Fetherman@uscg.mil, communicating their interest within six (6) calendar days from the posting date of this notice. Interested sources shall provide data showing that they have successfully repaired these items for the Government, or other commercial customers in the past, or that they have unlimited access to the OEM's parts, technical data, including specifications, drawings, and overhaul procedures. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. Information received after this period will not be considered.
