- Purpose: The purpose of this Special Notice is 1) To gauge interest from roofing contractors in attending a one day pre-proposal conference tentatively planned to occur March 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. 2) To gain insight into contractors' bonding capabilities. Please RSVP and respond to the questions at the following link by 31 Dec 12: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/roofing_conference Background: The Air Force is transforming the way it purchases roofing repair and replacement services from a base-centric model to a regional IDIQ contract model representing approximately $220M in total roofing requirements. This represents a significant change for both the AF and roofing contractors. This conference event will help prospective bidders form a better understanding of the AF requirement and become positioned for success, and also provide an opportunity to network with potential teaming partners. Small Businesses are highly encouraged to attend.
