- Note: Additonal proposals are not being sought. The RPTI support task was awarded to SAIC after a competitive procurement issued on the open market. It is being extended due to delays in awarding the follow on task orders against the new contract. Agency: U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Command and Control Directorate (C2D), Task Numbers: PD2111USA103, PD2111USA103A and PD2111USA103C Estimated Dollar Value: Ceiling is being increased on the basic task PD2111USA103 and on two of the open task orders based on proposals received in support of 30 day extensions to task orders PD2111USA103A and PD2111USA103C. A separate market analysis supports the reasonableness of pricing for both task orders. The increase to the ceilings for the basic contract and these two task orders are calculated to final T&M ceiling estimates as indicated below: PD2111USA103 From: $36,167,792.70 By: $2,402,669.74 To: $38,570,462.44 PD2111USA103A From: $21,365,469.65 By: $ 1,630,441.88 To: $22,995,911.53 PD2111USA103C From: $8,587,114.42 By: $ 772,227.86 To: $9,359,342.28 Description of action being approved: This is an urgent and compelling requirement to provide a 30 day extension through 12DEC2012 for the basic and two task orders under the authority available in the contract clause language FAR 52.217-8. The contract is for engineering, design, fabrication and systems integration required to provide for continued support to ongoing prototype systems integration projects that are being fielded in support of continuing operations in support of CERDEC.
