- The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a Firm Fixed Price type requirement for purchase of a microscope and maintenance service in accordance with the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation. This requirement is unrestricted. The size standard classification is 500 employees and the NAICS code is 334516. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, 20 November 2012 and will be available until 19 December 2012. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-13-T-0013. Potential offers are responsible for accessing the website and responding to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, in accordance with 52.204-99 (DEV) offerors MUST be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM's) at http://www.sam.gov, where CCR and required representations and certification at formally http://orca.bpn.gov is provided or updated. Telephone requests will not be honored and bidder lists will not be maintained. Potential offerors are required to direct all questions via email to sharon.r.smith@us.army.mil by 10:00 a.m. on 19 December 2012.
