- Description
- 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for a Recreational Vehicle Park Expansion. Contractor shall furnish all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and performing all operations in connection with project JCUU 12-5002, Recreational Vehicle Park Expansion, work at Goodfellow Base Recreational Camp, Texas; complete and in strict accordance the Statement of Work (SOW), drawings (Technical Exhibits) and all applicable codes, regulations, standards, and criteria in effect at the date of solicitation.. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition; open ot both large and small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period will be 90 days from the notice to proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Fed Biz Ops website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 01 Dec 12. The site visit will be held on or about 18 Dec 12, all bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The Bid due date will be on or about 31 Dec 12. The exact date and time of the site visit and Bid due date will be stated in the solicitation. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract to the responsible bidder whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award. SAM information can be obtained at www.sam.gov or calling 1-888-227-2423. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. No fax or emailed bids will be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars.
