- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to purchase on a sole source basis, Telecommunication Services for a 4 month base period and a one month option period. The base period of performance is 01 December 2012 through 31 March 2013. The telecommunication services are for the Naval Support Activity, Base Communications Office, Crane, Indiana. The contractor is Communications Products, Inc., 7301 East 90th Street, Suite 111, Indianapolis, IN 46256. The proposed contract action will be Firm Fixed Price and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 6. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 541330. The size standard is $14.0M. The period of performance consists of a four (4) month base period and a one month option period. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND 20 NOVEMBER 2012. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
