- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE PARKING LOT REPAIR (517-13-104) The Department of Veterans Affairs, 200 Veterans Avenue, Beckley, West Virginia has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 517-13-104, Parking Lot Repair at the Beckley VA Medical Center, Beckley, West Virginia. This project shall consist of replacement of broken asphalt in the roadway of Northwest entrance of middle parking lot with reinforced roadway concrete and installation of Catch Basin at the upper edge of the Middle Parking Lot and an additional Catch Basin across the driveway with a connecting drain that running under existing staircase and into Contractor Parking Lot. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawing and specifications. The period of performance is 180 days for the entire project. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $150,000. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material will be available on/about December 20, 2012. The specifications, and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to obtain access in FedBiz Opps.
