- This is a sources sought announcement and shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or obligation on behalf of the Government to acquire products, goods or services. Currently, funds are unavailable for this requirement and have not been appropriated for this announcement. Please be advised that any information provided or furnished by prospective offerors in response to this announcement is voluntary and done so at no costs to the Government. This sources sought/market survey notice is being conducted by the Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region (DSW), Procurement Office, to determine the capabilities, size and type of businesses able to provide services for cleaning and disposal of fowl excrement. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel and equipment necessary to safely high pressure wash clean remove and dispose of offsite all Fowl excrement from the Capacitor Banks and the ground area surrounding the Capacitor Banks, at our Liberty Substation in Liberty, AZ. The nature of this material should be treated as hazardous and may require special handling. Items shall be disposed of in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The NAICS for this survey is 562211, with a size standard of $12.5M. If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by 12 Dec 2012; 2:00 P.M. local time. Responses should include: (1) Business Name and Address, (2) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Company Website (if applicable), (3) DUNS and NAICS code(s), (4) Type of Business: Small, 8A, HUBZone, Women-owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc, (5) GSA Schedule/Contract number, if any (6) previous experience or other activities with similar work to include contract magnitude (7) description of capabilities and limitations based on the requirements listed above. All businesses are encouraged to limit their responses to no more than 10 pages in length. This sources sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10.
