- S--Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to provide Wall repair at the McMillan Water Treatment Plant (WTP), which is located at 2500 First Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit prior to submittal of bid. This visual inspection will more than likely have and affect on the way prospective bidders will prepare their estimate for the work to be performed. This requirement NAICS is 238140 and the size standard is $14.0 million. It is currently set-aside for small businesses only. This requirement must be provided in strict accordance with the statement of work included in the request for quotation bid package that can be obtained from the Corp s' website. Only those vendors who can provide the requirement EXACTLY as stated in the specifications may provide a quote. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for this solicitation must be performed through ASFI. Accounts may only be attained by SAM-registered contractors; you must be registered with the System for Award Management Database (SAM) to receive a government contract award. You may register with the SAM at http://www.sam.gov/. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail ONLY to cheley.auguste@usace.army.mil. Bids can be mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, 10 South Howard Street, 7th floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. Available thru Federal Business Opportunities System (https://www.fbo.gov/index) The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 20 November 2012, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System (https://www.fbo.gov/index). To familiarize vendors with the newly released FBO system, please download the Vendor Guide found here (http://www.nab.usace.army.mil/EBS/FBO_Vendor_Guide.pdf). Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package.
