- This pre-solicitation notice is for lighting equipment rental/leasing and support. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) has a requirement on behalf of The U.S. Army Band for lighting equipment rental/leasing and support in support of its annual quote mark A Holiday Festival quote mark concert being held at the DAR, Constitution Hall in Wash, DC. The award will be a firm fixed- price contract for a period consisting of a base period with two, 1 year option periods. The period of performance for the 2012 concert is 26 Nov - 2 Dec 2012.This acquisition is a 100% small business-set aside procurement. The NAICS Code is 335129 and the FSC Code is W062. The Request for Quotes (RFQ)/solicitation will be posted on or about 20 November 2012. The RFQ, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. Prior to submitting an offer, offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management (SAM) per FAR 52.204-99, System for Award Management registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. By submitting an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in SAM under the appropriate business category and NAICS code. Paperless File System: MICC-Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. No paper copies of the RFQ will be mailed and telephonic request for paper copies will not be honored.
