Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for commercial services performed in accordance with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice for sources sought. Request for company background and capabilities brief are being sought and requested for this notice. An official solicitation notice is NOT applicable at this time. The proposed acquisition is to be openly competed and the applicable NAICS is 488190 with a size standard of $7M annually. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement for consideration in the overall acquisition strategy, as well as to promote competition. Industry Day will be announced for this requirement. Submit written responses to Harold Kostem via email at Harold.Kostem@usmc.mil, no later than 23 November 2012. MCIEAST Contracting Department is seeking information from all categories of SB for the purpose of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or SB subcontracting goals for this requirement. BRIEF BACKGROUND: MCIEAST Contracting Department Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for Organizational Level Aircraft Maintenance Services in support of the United States Marine Corps Aviation Operations. Support is required for the following Marine Corps Aircraft: F/A-18, MV-22, AV-8B, EA-6B, CH-53E, AH-1W, AH-1Z, UH-1N, UN-1Y, KC-130J AND KC-130T. Please refer to the attached RFI document
