- Description
- The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (DASD/NM) in conjunction with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and the Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office are seeking sources of potential technologies, processes, and capabilities to rapidly determine nuclear or radiochemical composition and quantitative isotopics on a post- nuclear detonation debris samples (solid or gas). Analysis can be unattended or attended in either a field or fixed laboratory location. The goal of nuclear forensics debris analysis is to obtain high quality answers in the shortest time possible.
