Hughes Group 3701 South Lawrence Street Tacoma, WA 98409 Hurlburt Field AFB, FL, intends to make a single award for TRANSIENT ALERT AND WASH RACK SERVICES with a period of performance 1 December 2012 through 30 November 2013; with four option years. Work consists of, but is not limited to, aircraft ground handling, refueling-defueling/assisting with refueling-defueling, marshalling, installation/removal of landing gear safety pins, inspecting aircraft for hot brakes, utilizing ground chocks, ground wires, positioning and operation of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and fire suppression equipment, positioning staircases and assisting aircrews as required IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This acquisition is being offered for competition to eligible 8(a) small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 488119, and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4581. The Size Standard for NAICS is $7.0M. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:(1) PRICE PROPOSAL, (2) TECHNICAL PROPOSAL, and (2) PAST PERFORMANCE. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. The Government received five (5) proposals in response to the solicitation.
