- PR No: 0047651033; this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (5855-01-246-8266) for a Headset Assembly. This solicitation will be for a firm fixed price, definite quantity contract for a quantity of 36,558 each. Solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, other than full and open competition. There are two approved sources of supply: L-3 Insight Technology (0B107) and Carson (1XEP3). The FOB point is Destination, Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The required delivery for is 137 days ARO. A subcontracting plan is required. Certified cost and pricing data will not be required because this is a commercial item. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress payments will not be utilized because the conditions of FAR 32.501-211 have not been met. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 5 Nov 12, (with a closing date of November 20, 2012), anticipated award date is 30 Nov 12. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the BSM DIBBS web-site: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction.
