- Description
- The 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB, AZ, is contemplating an award for Packing and Crating Services for Department of Defense personnel relocating to and from Luke AFB, AZ. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs). The requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) apply to Direct Procurement Method (DPM) shipments only. If specific instruction or requirements are not provided, commercial standards of services and best business practices are acceptable. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed-priced contract, base year period of 1 January 2013 through 31 December 2013 plus four one-year options, which may extend the contract until 31 December 2017. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside for small business concerns under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $25.5 million. A formal request for proposal will be issued on or about 12 Nov 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. To be considered, responsive offerors must register in SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ before submitting an offer.
