- The solicitation ISSUE DATE is November 26, 2012 with a CLOSING DATE of December 261, 2012. Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract for 118 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA, Tracy, CA, Cherry Point, NC. Solicitation is unrestricted for business size. Other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1). Approved sources are PRECISION GEAR INCORPORATED, CAGE 21540, P/N 65396-06007-043, and SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT, CAGE 78286, P/N 65396-06007-43. Terms and Conditions are FOB Desination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin with delivery being 210 days AFAA. This is a Navy Critical Safety item. This item has higher level inspection, configuration control, export control, critical application, first article and Production Lot testing requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. ***This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the Ariba system and review the Reverse Auction help tutorials at: http://govauctions.supplier.ariba.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction Automated Best Value System (AVBS) and/or the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) will be used as an evaluation factor. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
