- Description
- The US Coast Guard has a requirement for the overhaul of the following Evac Oy Water Closet (Compact Base Unit, NSN: 4510-01-574-8421, p/n: 5470513) utilizing other than full and open competition procedures. The Water Closets are installed onboard the 87' WPB Coast Guard Cutters. This requirement must be completed utilizing only genuine Evac Oy parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Remanufactured or aftermarket parts are not acceptable. The Coast Guard does not own the rights to the technical data necessary to evaluate other parts. The overhaul will require receipt of the Water Closet, initial inspection, opening of the component and provision of an estimate of repairs. Once estimate is approved, components will require repair, reassembly, packaging, marking and delivery. All repairs will be made in accordance with specification number R-644-0635 dated 7/12, entitled "Overhaul of U.S. Coast Guard 87' WPB Water Closets." Packing and marking shall also be in accordance with Specification number R-644-0635 dated 7/12, entitled "Overhaul of U.S. Coast Guard 87' WPB Water Closets." Specification will be provided with the solicitation package. Delivery shall be made to the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Receiving Room - Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is intended to award a requirements type contract with one base year and four option years. Estimated quantities per year will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation package will be available for downloading from FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov on or about 11/15/12. Be advised that this date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to check FedBizOpps regularly for release of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 811310, and the size standard for small business is $7 million.
