- Full Sources Sought Synopsis List of all software data rights Please see attached Sources Sought Synopsis for full details. 1. Sources Sought Synopsis for Planning Purposes. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis and Request for Information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 --Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997). The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to perform market research, and to determine offeror interest and capability in providing combined F-15C/E MTC simulation services to the Air Force. a. Background: The Government is conducting market research to identify companies, as potential sources, that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to requirements to provide F-15C and F-15E military flight simulator services for the F-15C and F-15E Mission Training Centers (MTC) following the end of existing MTC simulator service contracts (currently projected to end in July 2016 and September 2017, respectively). Only United States companies will be considered for contract award. There are currently two separate contracts for F-15C and F-15E simulators services. These services are both provided by the same contractor and this incumbent owns all simulator devices. It is the Government's intention to determine whether there is offeror interest and capability in performing a simulator service contract that combines the two services into one contract. b. Please email any questions as soon as possible and your response to this Source Sought Synopsis no later than 1500 EST, 1 December 2012, to Caley Cyphers (caley.cyphers@wpafb.af.mil), Contract Negotiator. Emailed response must be received no later than the above-mentioned time/date for the Government to consider your response in formulating our market research.
