- The purpose of this amendment is to change the distribution information regarding the CD-ROM (site drawings) and extend Submission Dates: 1) CD-ROM Distribution Drawings will NOT be made available for pickup prior to the mandatory site visit. Drawings will be distributed on Day 1 (October 9th) of the Site Visit, not before. Vendors who would like to receive a copy of the CD-ROM may do so at EPA Headquarters location after signing a non-disclosure agreement in the presence of an EPA employee. Pickup of the CD-ROM may NOT be arranged. 2) Question Due Date Questions shall be received no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on October 22, 2012 via FedConnect. 3) Submission Due Date Complete submission (all three voluems) shall be received no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on November 8, 2012 via FedConnect. All other aspects of this RFP remain unchanged. Original Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The title and RFP number for this requirement is "Security System Design and Installation Project for the U.S. EPA Headquarters Complex" - SOL-DC-12-00025 and shall be referenced on all communications and submissions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-54. Under the resultant contract the contractor will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and software support of the new security system located at EPA's Headquarters facilities in the Washington, DC area. Any firm believing itself to be capable of meeting EPA?s requirement, as stated within the RFP, Instructions, and the Statement of Work, may submit a proposal, which, if received by the response date and time of this announcement shall be considered. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in accordance with FAR 4.11.
