- In accordance with Section 3.2.1.3.11.1 of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), industry is hereby informed that the FAA anticipates a potential Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract requirement with a term of approximately two (2) years to provide historical airline-reported gate information for Federal Fiscal Year 2012 and a quarterly subscription to such data for Federal Fiscal Years 2013 and 2014, as more fully and specifically described in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) attached as Attachment 1. The purpose of this market survey is to inform industry of the potential contract opportunity and solicit capabilities statements and certain other information from interested vendors capable of providing the services set forth in the draft SOW. Interested vendors must respond with information that describes their capabilities to meet the requirements set forth in the draft SOW. The specific information required to be submitted is described in the Capabilities Statement Requirements attached as Attachment 2. The FAA intends to review all responses to gain an understanding of the knowledge, experience, and capabilities of participants in the subject market. Any vendor responding to this notice must also complete and submit the Business Declaration Form attached as Attachment 3. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This is not a solicitation. This notice is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) of any kind. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any type by the Government to take or not to take any action. No evaluation letters or results will be issued to respondents. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred by vendors in responding to this notice. This notice does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach it may take in connection with this requirement. Responses to this market survey shall be submitted to the FAA via e-mail to robert.grabner@faa.gov no later than 3:00 PM (EST) on November 20, 2012.
