- The Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG) has a requirement to issue a contract for clean shop rags,and mats, and removal of dirty shop rags/mats and coveralls. The purpose of this notice is to alert members of the industry that the TXARNG intends, within the next few weeks, to solicit for bids for a service to furnish, pickup, clean and deliver shop rags and mats and coveralls. It is anticipated that two (2) firm fixed price contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. The contracts are expected to be awarded with 1 base year and 1 option year each. The locations of service will be Saginaw, TX and Austin, TX. All information required for submission will be contained in the solicitation (IFB Invitation for Bid). No other information will be given until the solicitation is published. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract.
