- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The Non-Complex Reachback Cell at Rock Island Contracting has a requirement for 18 each, MH-47 Chinook Combat Pilot Custom Seat, PN: 31046-1-A1. The Rock Island Contracting Center intends to make an award to Coastal Aircraft Parts, 2999 NW 115th Terrace, Sunrise, FL 33323-1607. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
