Description

This ARRA notice is provided for informational purposes only, therefore FAR 5.203 does not apply. This project is for the Department of Defense (DOD) Plug-In Electric Vehicle Program (V2G) as part of the Energy Conservation Investment Program (ECIP) at China Lake, CA per FAR 5.7. This opportunity is available for competition only to the contractors under the Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) N62473-07-D-2042, NO CAL 8(a) Group 0047. This work shall integrate plug-in electrical vehicles (PEVs) into the non tactical ground fleet at China Lake, CA, via the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) concept. The contractor shall design and install the infrastructure for a total of 75 electric vehicle charging stations at three separate locations on the Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) at China Lake, California. The contractor shall provide and install all necessary infrastructures as follows: a) Charging station infrastructure for 23 vehicles at building 00010, b) Charging station infrastructure for eight vehicles at the RCC parking lot, and c) Charging station infrasture for 44 vehicles at the Public Works compound.
