- NOTE: The NAICS Code issued previously was 424480 and has been changed to 311991, Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing. Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. The solicitation no. has been changed from SPM302-12-R-0011 to SPM302-13-R-0003. This announcement serves as a pre-solicitation notice only and not a solicitation, therefore, proposals are not being solicited or accepted at this time. The DLA Troop Support Pacific intends to solicit for a full-line of USDA No.1 or better Fresh Fruit and Vegetable (FF&V) products to support Non-DoD USDA School customer requirements in Hawaii. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside acquisition. The resultant award will be for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. It will contain one 12 month base period plus four 12 month option periods. The total length of the contract will be five years. The length of the contract including options if exercised may total 60 months. The options periods, if exercised are at the unilateral rights of the government. This solicitation will consist of four zones in the Hawaii region. Zone A will consist of Honolulu County Non-DoD USDA School customers. Zone B will consist of Hawaii County Non-DoD USDA School customers. Zone C will consist of Maui County Non-DoD USDA School customers. Zone D will consist of Kauai County Non-DoD USDA School customers. Zones will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria specified. The Government intends to make one (1) award per zone, but reserves the right to award to any combination of offerors. The Government may award more than one (1) zone to one (1) vendor or award all zones to one (1) vendor if one (1) offeror submits the lowest priced technically acceptable offer for all zones. To be considered for award of a zone, offerors DO NOT need to submit offers for ALL zones. However, to be considered for award of a zone, offerors are required to submit pricing for all items in the respective zone's Schedule of Items. Failure to do so may result in rejection of your proposal. The due date and time for submission of offers will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date is on/about November 14, 2012 (subject to change). A pre-proposal conference will be held but the date, time, and location will be indicated in the solicitation. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring of the aforementioned website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. The solicitation and any/all amendments will be posted and must be retrieved from this website. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Facsimile and E-mail submission will not be accepted. This acquisition will be issued under FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process (LPTA). No award will be made unless the vendor is registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
