- The United States Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground, ACC-APG, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-3013, on behalf of the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDD0) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a four-month extension and increase to the ordering ceiling for the Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract W91CRB-08-D-0024 with Lockheed Martin under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The anticipated effort is for Analytical Support Teams Services. The anticipated award date is December 2012. The contractor shall continue to provide the JIEDDO Counter-IED (C-IED) Operations/Intelligence Integration Center (COIC) expertise in Operational level military operations-intelligence fusion and analysis to support deployed U.S. Forces in C-IED operations currently engaged in combat and support operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. Any information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.
