- Questionaire RFP THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY October 17, 2012 ResCare, Inc., contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor, for the operation of the Homestead Job Corps Center, is currently soliciting written proposals for the subcontracted operation of the Career Development Services System (Career Technical Training and Academic Education) for the Homestead Job Corps Center. Job Corps is a national residential and non-residential training and employment program administered by the Department of Labor to address the multiple barriers to employment faced by youth ages 16-24 years throughout the United States. It is anticipated that the resultant contractor will be a cost-plus incentive fee subcontract for Career Development Service (Career Technical and Academic Education). The subcontract will have a 7-month base period beginning January 2, 2013 through July 31, 2013 plus three (3) unilateral renewal options for one (1) year each. The subcontractor will provide management and oversight of Career Preparation, Career Technical Training and Academic Education at the Homestead Job Corps Center. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email by 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 to the following email address: mercado.zooaycka@jobcorps.org No questions will be accepted or answered after the deadline. A pre-posal conference is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. EST on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Homestead Job Corps Center. The facility is located at 12350 S.W. 285th Street, Homestead, Florida 33033; contact number is : (305) 257-4820 Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of a written submission as described in the RFP. All written proposal submissions shall be due no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on Monday, November 19, 2012 to the address listed in the RFP. ResCare, Inc. reserves the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible. Bidders should be aware of bid requirements for federal funded projects and comply accordingly.
