- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is W91ZLK-13-T-0007, and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-61. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified offers' may submit bids. The solicitation will start on October 17, 2012 and will end on October 23, 2012 at 4:00 pm Eastern Time, or as otherwise posted at http://www.FedBid.com. This requirement is for a full service maintenance contract for rack and utensil washers. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Specifications are listed within the CLINS (see below). All interested vendors must respond by October 23, 2012, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to pamela.s.paradis.civ@mail.mil. The e-mail subject line shall state: W91ZLK-13-T-0007. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED CLIN 0010 Base year Contract for full maintenance service to include emergency service and repairs on the following: 2-MTP 2100 Series Rack Washer 1-Lynx Series Tunnel, cage and Utensil Washer CLIN 0020 Option year one (1) Contract for full maintenance service to include emergency service and repairs on the following: 2-MTP 2100 Series Rack Washer 1-Lynx Series Tunnel, cage and Utensil Washer CLIN 0030 Option year two (2) Contract for full maintenance service to include emergency service and repairs on the following: 2-MTP 2100 Series Rack Washer 1-Lynx Series Tunnel, cage and Utensil Washer Scope of Work: • De-scale tanks at quarterly visit. • Remove and clean debris screens and strainers and check for defects before reinstalling. • Remove and clean all spray arms, jets and manifolds. • All jets are checked for alignment. • Flush and clean all tanks make sure there's no debris or scale build-up. • Test and adjust all safety features as needed. • Inspect and rebuild and replace all valves as needed to include control, check and steam traps. • Inspect and lubricate all motors, drive manifolds and conveyor bearings. • Inspect, adjust, and replaced as needed, all doors, windows and gaskets. • Visual inspection of cabinets, seams and framework. • Inspect control panel and junction boxes for signs of water or damaged wiring, repair as needed. • Run equipment through series of tests to ensure proper pressure, temperature and performance. • Calibrate sensors as needed. • Report any and all safety deficiencies to management. • All emergency calls are responded to within a four hour window, to minimize downtime.
