- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following: Six-month extension for the Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing (TTAC) Operations and Computing Environment (OCE) services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award an extension to InfoZen, Inc., 9420 Key West Avenue, Suite 101, Rockville, MD 20850. This contract will address the requirements of the Office of Threat Assessment and Credentialing. The proposed contract action is for OCE Operations & Maintenance services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above designated source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The TSA is currently evaluating offers received in response to a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). This extension effort will allow the following: 1) continuation of services until a new contract award is issued, 2) a 90-day transition period from the current contract to the new contract award, and 3) any unforeseen delays. The period of performance for this extension is 28 November 2012 - 27 May 2013, three-month base plus three one-month option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. As stated above, TSA is currently evaluating offers received in response to a competitive RFP. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
