- NOTE: ACTUAL AWARD OF THIS CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The General Services Administration (GSA) is looking for an independent testing and inspection service company for the *Recovery* Funded Green Cafeteria Project at the Federal Building, 300 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, California. The purpose of this requirement is for General Inspection Services provide quality assurance services which include daily inspections and reports, and specialty testing and inspections on a continuous basis and at specific stages of the project construction. The selected firm's personnel shall be certified as a General Building Inspector or have the ability to register before the start of contract performance. The estimated cost is from $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. Estimated completion time is 6 months. The floor areas in question for construction will be vacated during the performance of work. Each person from the testing company who will be on-site will be required to obtain Government Security Clearance and identification badge. This action is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Offerors will be required to submit a fully developed Technical and Price Proposal. Firms interested in receiving the RFP should submit a letter of interest by email to Colleen Butler, Contract Specialist, at colleen.butler@gsa.gov or by mail to: General Services Administration, PBS, Design & Construction Division (9P2PCS), ATTN: Colleen Butler, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, 3rd floor West, San Francisco, CA 94102. The Request for Proposal (RFP) Package will be issued on October 17, 2012. Closing date and time for submission of Technical and Price Proposals is on November 16, 2012. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Walk are rescheduled to occur on October 25, 2012, at the project site. NOTE: ACTUAL AWARD OF THIS CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
