- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ is looking to procure 48 each of Collapsible Shipping Containers, P/N #39009AS1612-1 in accordance with NAVAIRSYSCOM drawing 3900AS1612 Rev: A. The drawing, 3900AS1612 Rev: A is attached to this announcement. All surfaces of the case shall be powder coated white. The case shall contain a pressure equalizing valve with a breaking pressure of +/-.5 PSI. The case shall be capable of collasing as shown in drawing 3900AS1612 Rev: A with all the components fitting inside the collapsed case. The case shall have four (4) hoist rings installed, capable of lifting 300 pounds or more. A quantity of four (4) shock-isolating mounts shall be installed; as shown on the drawing. Mounts shall have a height of 1.50 inches. Threaded rod is called out which is ½" in diameter and 12 threads per inch x 1.5" long. All drawing notes apply. The case shall have provisions for lifting with a forklift. Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. FOB: Destination. Delivery shall be 30 days from time of award. Packaging/Preservation shall be Best Commercial Practice that assure no damage to subject cases in shipment. This requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation; this announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. The internet website is https://www.sam.gov; phone number: 1-866-606-8220. It is mandatory to register in SAM with as your Duns Number(Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow(WAWF); information available in FAR Clauses 252,232-7003 and 252.232-7006. Additional information required: Cage Code, Duns Number, Tax ID Number, Payment Terms, Delivery schedule, Delivery charges if applicable, GSA contract number if applicable, Business size, and Email address.
