- Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Denver CO, intends to award sole source procurement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with AB Sciex, LLC, 110 Marsh Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, a fixed price contract for a AB Sciex QTrap 5500 LC-MS/MS system. NAICS for this requirement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to provide the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by October 22, 2012, 12:00 p.m. (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to kim.cooper3@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
