- Description
- The NRC intends to release a solicitation to acquire agency-wide webcasting services, which includes the contractor providing a "fully operational" webcast system using its own technology infrastructure. NRC will provide the onsite facility space, internal cabling and utility power necessary for the contractor to perform the required services. The webcast services will be required to provide viewers with real-time and archived access to NRC meetings and other events with quality video and audio in order to clearly see and hear the participants, understand their discussions, and read the caption text and any exhibits used. The basic level of monthly service will include maintaining the webcast infrastructure to support and host events, and the as-needed labor-hours portion is for the actual hours used to broadcast and provide closed-captioning support during an event. The solicitation will result in a contract including both firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials requirements. The contract will consist of a base period of one year and four one-year options to extend the term of the contract. The projected start date for the contract is May 19, 2013. The solicitation and any related amendment(s) will be posted only on www.fbo.gov, and proposals are anticipated to be due by the response date included in this notice. Evaluation factors for award are anticipated to include technical approach, management plan, corporate experience in providing webcasting support services, past performance information for similar contracts/orders, personnel qualifications for personnel proposed for the contract, and evaluated cost/price. The actual evaluation factors and relative importance of the evaluation factors for award will be stated in the solicitation. Any responsible small business may submit an offer.
