Description

R-SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Hubbard Radio to provide an on-air program, advertising and online promotion campaign for VA'S MyHealtheVet Personal Health Record system to multiple markets throughout the country targeting Federal Employees and Veterans. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar services. All capability statements received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted only email as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attached to yolanda.ray@va.gov Statements are due by 1:00 p.m. October 17, 2012. No phone calls will be accepted.
